THE CHIPS ARE DOWN
Yes the gravel chips have now been put down on the new footpath in the play area, that means we are only a stones throw away from being able to open the new park!
But, and I'm afraid it is a big but, it is not open yet, and until it has been given the all clear by the Safety Inspector, the area is still regarded as a building site and unsafe to use.

Kinch Bus Service No. 2 - revised timetable from 17th March 2025
From 17 March, Kinch will be introducing a Sunday and evening (Monday to Saturday) timetable on Kinchbus 2.

Temporary Traffic Regulation Order - MOUNTSORREL LANE, SILEBY
Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order at the above location.
An urgent temporary road closure is required on Mountsorrel Lane from the 17th March 2025 for 5 days.
The road will be closed between the junction of Slash Lane and the slip roads to the A6.

First of all, an apology to all of you who have had to suffer the mud on the park due to the installation of the new play equipment, especially around the Wash Pit area.
