Sileby Parish Council has a number of exciting projects just starting or in the pipeline. Two biggies are Project Park! and the rejuvenation of the Garden of Remembrance at the cemetery.

Project Park!
Project Park takes another leap forward as we prepare to make a new entrance on to the park from Gibson Road.
At the moment the way into the park here is muddy with a steep bank, it has never been an official entrance to the park. Now, thanks to Jelson, the builders, who own that patch of land, the unsightly shrubbery will be cleared away and a proper footpath put down giving a safe, clear entrance... Read More »

Project Park! Update
The first stage of Project Park! is due to commence on Monday 25th September 2023.
* The Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) will be dismantled, and a new improved MUGA installed.
* A circular path is going to be sited around part of the park.
* A new entrance layout from Seagrave Road.
At some points there will be disruption to the car park, and when the entrance is being renovated, the car park will be closed... Read More »

WILDFLOWER VERGES
This year's wildflower planting has been successful and we've learned a lot from it.
We want to take our wild planting a step further next year by increasing the space we use and hopefully create a spectacle of colour at the village entrances.
