Budget Consultation

There is still time to respond to the County Council's Budget Consultation.

The Consultation runs until 15th January. You can find out about the Council's proposals, and make comments, by visiting: www.leicestershire.gov.uk/budget

Given the financial challenges facing local government, the Council believes it is important that residents, businesses, organisations and staff take time to have their say.

Fostering

The County Council is urging people to take the first steps to find out more about fostering.

The details include information about the Council's "Find out about Fostering" events. It is emphasized that whatever a person's gender, race, sexuality, living arrangements, age or employment status, the Council would like to hear from them.

The Council's request is: "If you think you could help just one child make good choices, learn how to do basic life chores, live life to the fullest, and most importantly be happy in 2023, make the first steps to find out more information".
