TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC

TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF ONE-WAY SYSTEM ORDER 2023

Notice is hereby given that the Leicestershire County Council intends not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1984. It is expected that the Order will come into force on 21st February 2023 and have a maximum duration of 6 months

The works will be completed within the period of the Order. The works will commence when the appropriate signs are erected and may last for up to 2 weeks.

The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order is being enforced for public safety to allow Severn Trent Water Ltd safely undertake fire hydrant repair works and any other various Utility and highway maintenance works

The proposed diversion route will be via: Kendal Road, Avenue Road, Cemetery Road, Ratcliffe Road, The Banks and vice versa.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL THROUGH TRAFFIC

Albion Road – between Whitehead Road and Avenue Road.

Back Lane – at its junction with Albion Road
