THE CHIPS ARE DOWN

Yes the gravel chips have now been put down on the new footpath in the play area, that means we are only a stones throw away from being able to open the new park!

But, and I'm afraid it is a big but, it is not open yet, and until it has been given the all clear by the Safety Inspector, the area is still regarded as a building site and unsafe to use.

We have been monitoring the use of the new infant play area which is open, and we are delighted to see that it is being well used. We would, however, like to remind dog owners that it is a children's play area, and for the safety and comfort of all children, all dogs should be kept off the play area unless on a short lead, and of course it goes without saying that all dog poo should be bagged and binned.

We understand that all of the changes will take a little time to get used to, but please, please remember that the safety and enjoyment of our children is of paramount importance to us all
