Sileby Memorial Park - Vandalism

We are currently experiencing a high level of anti-social behaviour on the play area at Sileby Memorial Park at the moment.

Last night a glass bottle was deliberately smashed on the hopscotch area by two girls (incident caught on camera). We have also had play equipment tampered with, making it dangerous for children to use.

A local reading of the Proclamation of the new Sovereign will be held at Sileby War Memorial, Sileby Memorial Park on Sunday 11th September at 1.30pm.

The Proclamation of King Charles III becoming the new monarch will be read by Parish Council Chairman, Councillor Mrs Julie Jones.

Residents and members of the public are invited to join us for the reading.

A series of projects have been chosen to form part of a £4 million investment plan in Charnwood to help the area level-up.

Charnwood Borough Council has been allocated the funding under the Government's UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) and has developed the Future Charnwood Investment Plan.
